Shimizu: My town!
For the next year or two, I will be teaching English in Hokkaido, Northern Japan. The town that I am posted in is Shimizu, with a population of around 10,000. I had been to Japan about 5 years ago to visit my aunt, who's a missionary in Osaka, and also my old exchange student, who lives in Saitama. Hokkaido is Japan's fronteer with its many mountains, small rivers and streams, and its abundance of natural hotsprings. What stands out in Hokkaido is its amazing winters, which are infamous for its crisp snow, perfect for skiers and snowboarders alike. Please enjoy these galleries, and feel free to leave comments and criticisms.Read More
